Ghosts

I had to go to pick up a brooch from a favourite designer today. The studios are near the banks of the Tyne, next to Spiller's Mill, where an artist from these studios erected this wooden sculpture made from an old, local jetty.

I like this mill, it reminds me of the concrete cast of a house by Rachel Whiteread which won the Turner Prize in 1993 or maybe her sculpture, Ghost (1990).
