An institution has to go.....

This isn't a very good picture. I know. But - this view won't be there for very much longer .......
That is the view of the 'Alten Peter' through the (very dull) skylight (?) of the mega bookstore Hugendubel at Marienplatz.
This bookstore has 5 floors, lots of 'reading islands', where you can sit and browse your selection of books, a very nice café in the top floor (does one count as regular when you and your daughter are greeted with 'one americano and one latte??’????) and lots and lots and lots of books.......

Now it was announced that the bookstore has to leave this location at the end of next year/ beginning of the year after that because the lease wasn't prolonged and Telekom will move in the lower floors and some offices in the upper ones......

And where the heck will we get our latte with a view now???
