Tawny owl pellet

One or two tawny owls regularly roost in the spruce trees next to our house. We collect the pellets for analysis by The Mammal Society so they can gauge the vole population etc. Our most popular prey is field and bank voles, followed by common shrews and wood mice. A bat and amphibians have also been found.
