Part of the Bay Bridge

Part of the Bay Bridge which spans the San Francisco Bay between SF and Oakland.

This photo is taken from Ferry Point, not far from the USS Hornet, on Alameda.

The houses are on Alameda, then you are looking across the bay to the black cantilever span of the old Bay bridge, with behind this the new white bridge that replaced it in 2013.

All this is on the Oakland side of Yerba Buena island, which sits in the middle of the Bay Bridge.

In the background I think you can see Mount Livermore on Angel Island or it might be Mount Tamalpais, which is much farther away, but also much bigger.

The wobbly effect of the bridge is, I think due to magnification or to heat haze, I'm not sure which.
