The colour of these noisy little birds never ceases to amaze me. I didn't fiddle with the colour at all - rainbow lorikeets really do look like this.

We're seeing a lot more of them right now, which tells me that their regular food source is drying up. The eucalypts are starting their autumn flower show so it won't be long before there is plenty of nectar available for them.

We were hoping to go for a walk in the park this evening, but I don't think it's going to happen. Daylight saving ends Sunday, so our chances of an evening walk will be very slim.
