Every day can be an adventure.

Today’s adventure was in the evening, after a grey drizzly day the sky cleared and we had the bright idea to capture Dunstanburgh Castle at night with star trails.

We had walked to the castle in the morning getting a little on the wetter side of life as at the end a hail shower caught us !

So with torch, camera, & tripod we set of in the dark, the sky stayed clear just long enough to take the 20mins worth of exposure, the only problem was that the wind was blowing at about 25mph and there were quite a few stronger gusts. We had to hold the tripod and brace against the wind to capture this image.
