Washed Ashore & No Chips?

A total of 16 sunfish figures have been placed at key locations, from the Hoe to Sutton Harbour and Millbay, as part of a tourist trail to highlight the National Marine Aquarium’s Making Waves project in Plymouth.
Designed by a team of apprentices from Plymouth City Council and painted by local artists, each of the finished sculptures will help to tell the story of Britain’s Ocean City.
The fish are made of Glass Reinforced Plastic, and were placed here for the National Apprenticeship Week that occurred earlier this month.
They are really colourful, and do make people stop and smile. And they are withstanding the hail storms that we have been experiencing today. Got caught in one this afternoon, so now home in the warm with a cup of tea!!!
