The Road North

Blip

Today has been a busy one in that we had a few things to attend to in Edinburgh before we set off for Aberdeen. A quick visit to the recycling centre to get rid of the bags of polystyrene which protected the new dining room furniture which arrived last Monday. The drive up was uneventful but a little boring. We've done this journey so many times in the last 40 years through friendships and two children who attended university there. (We know supermarkets and ATMs particularly well and those of you who have or have had children at university will understand why!). Very little time to go blipping and as I was driving I couldn't really do much photography. However, en route a pleasant spot appeared along with a convenient parking place so this is today's blip. I'd have liked it to be more interesting but needs must, and family relationships need to be preserved. I probably won't be able to comment this evening without appearing discourteous to our fronds, so apologies in advance. This one has had a very little faffing on the iPad.
