Defying Gravity

Had a wicked time in the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff tonight with my friend Julie, to see strangely enough Wicked – the untold story of the witches of Oz. You will remember that the Wizard of Oz tells the story of a young girl who kills the first person she meets, and then teams up with strangers to kill again. Lol! Wicked is the alternative story, showing that some things are not quite as clear cut as you think. One of the lead actresses playing Elphaba, the wicked witch of the west, Nikki Davis-Jones was outstanding! If the hairs on the back of your neck don’t stand up when she sings ‘Defying Gravity’ then there’s something wrong with you.

Food was excellent as well, and the company was even better. Awesome night!
