Maritime Pine

I had a lovely walk round Chantry Park in Ipswich this afternoon, it was sunny but the wind is still keen. I took several photographs of different lichen, fungi and cones but liked this one for the colour, pattern and texture of both the cone and needles. It wasn't until I'd downloaded it that I noticed the little spider on the base of the cone.
