Flying saucer?

I was coming out of a shop this evening when I looked up at the sky ahead of me. It has been overcast and grey all day here but suddenly there was a little hole in the cloud and the setting sun was visible. It seemed, to me, like a flying saucer emerging from the thick grey clouds but it didn't last long. By the time I had put my camera back in its case the clouds had closed over again and it was as if it had never been there.
