Hide & Seek

Never look straight at the sun, I was told,
but today, I did.
Didn't bat an eyelid (nor closed one)
as the old sun hid.

This is the nearest we got to sunshine today, but I believe the forecast is better for tomorrow.

Many thanks for all your comments and advice on my yesterworm. I can now come clean and say that I'd more or less decided to leave him 'as is', but your majority vote has made me change my mind. I shall embroider a big smile on his face. (Or I will when I can get hold of some black yarn - it's about the one colour I don't have.)
