First Hoverfly!

Well, the first I've seen in my Northampton garden. It flew in just as I'm packing to fly out, off once again to my Australian life. I'm flying tomorrow, landing in Aus on Tuesday morning (yes, it is a very long way!).

I should have time for one last English blip tomorrow before I go, then comments may be a bit thin from me while I'm in transit - I'll be back up to speed before you can say, 'She'll be right'.
