rainy days

today was one of those rainy days where you just want to stay inside and spend the afternoon with a good book. i would have done just that except the book i really want to read hasn't come into our local library yet (i'm on the waiting list). instead i took a nap, which i needed to do since i'm still recovering from the flu ... then had some homemade soup for dinner ... then stepped outside to take a quick shot for today's blip. nothing fancy. just the rain falling in the puddle around our front tree.
