Let the birthdayfest begin!!

Maybe because he was one of nine children, Al always feels like birthdays should be celebrated for at least a week....I, on the other hand, would just as soon forget they exist!!

These are birthday flowers, and yesterday was our first birthday dinner, with my artist brother-in-law Bill and his lovely wife, Kathy (whose birthday really is today) and my sister-in-law Debbie.

Tonight will be dinner with our daughter and her family...salmon on the grill and a birthday cake made by Al himself and the grandchildren.

And I have no idea what he has planned for the next three days when we get to my actual birthday!!!!
