Snakes head Fritillaria

They seem to take you unawares, for all of a sudden the Fritillarias are coming in to flower. They look a little unusual but this is what I think makes them more attractive. What I didn't realise until taking the pic that Lily Beetles are attracted to them, as I found 2 feeding on the petals.Maybe I should say ex Lily Beetles for these 2 are no more. A close watch will have to be kept!
