Little and .... littler

Narcissus nobilis var primigenius a wonderful dwarf species bicolor daffodil with it's ray florets twisted like a propeller and Narcissus rupicola resting it's head on the other's shoulder.

The first named is between 15cm and 20cm tall, with relatively large flowers. Narcissus rupicola is often much shorter but here it searches for the light between taller neighbours.

Both growing in my cold frame, should do OK outside planted somewhere sunny where they will not get overgrown by taller neighbours.

Mothers Day celebrated in style. Two generations of Mothers, Turkey followed by a Chocolate Fountain ..... won't need to eat again until Tuesday!
