Lights or an evil grin?

Violinist by the Mountain Lake

The mountain lake is clear
It mirrors snow as it does shale
Gusty winds swirl
And prayer flags hiss
Like poisonous snakes
My teeth chatter when I think
Of the mountain lake
And its desolation.

By the mountain lake
Sits the violinist
His heels sip upon the waters
Drawn is his hat over his eye,
Scarf around his chin
The wind, like dragons
Winding across the emptiness
Numb his ears, freeze his fingertips.

And yet he plays,
Silent like the mountains
Unmoving, he moves us all.
