On the road to Stobo

This week's ride was 95km down to Broughton, clockwise this time. The extra 5 km over last week's ride included a slight detour over Mount Lothian. It was mistier and windier than forecast, so I was slightly slower, and therefore less opportunities to photograph the lovely scenery.

I did stop twice on the road to Stobo village. This blip shows that the daffodils are now in bloom along the road edge. The hills, last week covered by snow, have their tops obscured by mist, as are the higher distant hills. The world seems altogether a more compact space.
