Eagle in a corn field

Today Carol and I went out on a hunt for birds.. We wanted to get a picture of some white swans before they fly away.. We were given specific directions on where we would see them. On our way we spotted Eagles flying by. Carol stopped the car, made a U turn and we chased them down. We spotted them in a tree which wasn't within our zoom capabilities... So off went through a corn field and MUD!!!! Once we got to close they flew away so our pictures aren't all that sharp as we wanted..
It was an amazing site. I think we saw 8 in the tree with maybe another half dozen flying around.
We left and continued our hunt for swans. When we decided there wasn't one in Whatcom county we headed back to the tree. This time we found someone and asked for permission.. Walked around the building only to realize we were walking in Cow poop and mud.. Yikes.. What a mess. All and all we had a great time.
