In marked contrast to the warmth of the sunset yesterday evening, Aberdeen feels so grey. We scooped Sam up from his Halls (the state of his kitchen will haunt me forever) and went out for lunch. It was so great to be a family of five again and enjoy the usual banter at the table. The drive home in the dark was horrendous, heavy rain the whole way and no chocolate to soothe the journey!
