Fungi

A quick walk round the park this afternoon as it was beginning to rain, although it didn't amount to much. An extremely mild day saw all the office windows flung wide open, which was really lovely.
I spotted this fungi on a fallen oak and was fascinated by all the textures on both the fungi and the tree bark. I also liked all the different shades of earthy browns. Perhaps they are from a fairy tale and belong to some elves!!
I must say how thrilled but amazed I am at reading I've had over 10,000 views to my journal since I started. Thank you all for looking and hope you will continue to enjoy my random blips.
