It's just a matter of scale.

As it hkas not been a very good day on the potential blip front, I was in the garage after washing that Saharan dust off the car when this occurred to me.
And I have just a few minutes ago noticed that a brief shower of rain has brought down another coating of that North African dust. Oh, Joy!
Two model railway engines, two scales and quite a size difference. The smaller one is in "N - gauge" which is to a scale of 1/160th and the rather larger is in "HO gauge" which equates to 1/87th scale. HO is a sort of international standard but the small size of N means you could fit the same layout into a quarter of the space or get heaps more track into the same space. Decisions, decisions!
Enough of this techie stuff! The weather in this neck of the woods still refuses to warm up and MaggieD is still stuffed with the cold which is why it has not been such a busy day. That said, we have managed a trip to the shops in Falkirk and a couple of dog walks so it must be time to sit back and put the kettle on. Cheers!
