I'm Still Waiting

I have kept the dog rug and toy in the back of my car even though I haven't had a dog to jump in the boot for quite a few years now. I suppose it's an act of faith, that my circumstances will change and I will one day look in the rear view mirror and see a happy dog looking back at me.
