Vase detail

I've been messing about today with taking images of an Ikea vase which has an interesting formation in the base. This is for an assignment at my local photo club. Used tripod and attached flash with lens on macro setting. Had problems with little brightly coloured flares which are probably caused by imperfections in the glass. This crop seemed to avoid most of them.
