Au revoir Normandy

Awoke in Normandy to a beautiful clear blue sky. Day two of the Peugeot 308 SW launch drive. Spent the morning in a diesel version and found a wonderful spot for photography, at St Cécile beach just north of Le Touquet. A jolly Frenchman driving a JCB was busy shifting sand on the beach, but he moved on just as I was ready to set up to shoot the car on this ramp down through the sand dunes. Tempted to return here for a foodie weekend. There is a wonderful fishermen's commune seafood market nearby, and it is less than an hour by car from Calais.

Did a supermarket food and wine raid before heading back to Blighty. So arrived home with a delicious haul of cheeses, paté, rillettes, crunchy bread and Merlot, which went down very well indeed with him indoors.
