They lived in squares...

... moved in circles and loved in triangles as has often been said of the Bloomsbury Set. Virginia Woolf was, of course, the leading light and here she is in Tavistock Square where she lived and wrote from 1924-39, although the house is no longer there.
The inscription on the plinth reads:
"Then one day walking round Tavistock Square I made up, as I sometimes do make up my books, To the Lighthouse; in a great, apparently involuntary, rush."
