Scalehouses

Nestling in the Pennines lies Scalehouses, a hamlet of few properties, one of which is quite unusual. At first glance it seems like a normal farmhouse with the associated clutter around it. Only when you look closer you realise that there are at least three fridges and five washing machines in the front garden. There are four (presumably no longer used) cars in various states of metamorphosis, one of which houses chickens, another instead of a front seat sports a wooden kitchen table chair - complete with spindles lashed down, instead of a drivers seat. Another appears to be a greenhouse , incubating nefarious exotics consisting of a spiky leafed variety guaranteed to relax you. To top it all there are a flock of geese, as one, watching your every move. A relaxed if not slightly puzzling atmosphere. I have no idea who lives here but I want to see the car with the pine kitchen chair being driven.
