Scaring/scarifying the lawn

Its that time of year when you need to do things in the garden even though the wind still blows out of Siberia. Today we scarified the lawn. Where we live the moss could easily take over completely; but scarifying, moss-killing and feeding should see our lawn pretty good again this year.

The scarifier (my son's) is very efficient at aerating the grass and taking out the thatch. It is not so good at dumping it in the grass box. Hence Mrs M with the blower was blowing the quantities that remained into one corner where it could be more easily picked up and put in our green/recycle bin.
