Evening silhouettes of native plants

To Oamaru after lunch to see the Victorian part of town - some imposing buildings, others impressive and ornate. Many were built of limestone blocks see this beauty from dups. The huge warehouses had been turned into galleries and shops, restaurants and a museum - very little was left run down and the park by the fishing harbour was well laid out with all sorts of quirky things in it from the team Punk Outfit. Then to the beach to see if we could find the yellow eyed penguins. Found several abalone shells and saw one penguin heavily in moult, a baby waiting for mum to feed it and another adult that came ashore and waddled up the beach. We waited to see more but instead were rewarded by the antics of a fur seal and his mates in the water and on the beach.
