McCaigs Tower

A lovely bright day today but I was buried deep in paperwork in my Oban office.

A quick trip out at lunch to one of my favourite viewpoints. I usually blip the view out of the bay from here or look back at the whole town of Oban. Today I used my long lens and picked out the tower. It is an immediately recognisable feature of Oban, often called a folly by visitors but no locals ever call it that. To us it is always the tower.

Lots of detail in this image if you look large. In front of the tower on the left you can see a couple of people. This is another of my favourite lunchtime blip stops because it is a fab viewpoint.
