Gwent-Y-Mor

Apparently Welsh for sea-wind,though there's none of that today. Springtime sea-fog and rain on the Gwent-Y-Mor windfarm off the North Wales coast.

Seems all very familiar after having spent a year on the Greater Gabbard field off Harwich. Most of the boats working out here I've been on at one time or the other.

In the shot is one of the jack-up windfarm building 'ships' just finishing off the turbine nect to it and with the complete kit to be meccano'ed together onto the top of the next pile.
