An Early Mother's Day

As previously mentioned my Mum managed to end up getting to work on actual Mother's Day, so we turned Saturday into an early one. While Jo was at work (and Dad was flying back from Brazil!) I went into town in the morning with Mum for the weekend shop, artfully picking up a card for her and generally being a good helpful son. Then we had a lazy lunch at home, watched a film and then hugged Dad when he got back from Brazil.

We'd booked dinner at the village pub and luck was on our side as Jo's early shift had run late, so she got the evening off so we could have a family dinner together. This was followed by rock 'n' roll karaoke in the pub, and then back home to watch 'Undercover Blues' together - lovely stuff, and Dad didn't doze off until bedtime!

Today's Blip is Mum receiving her loot - a TV series from me and some new linen and champagne from Jo!
