Good to see Edinburgh Castle again

The mist was clearing a little this morning, but only because it was being washed away by the rain.

On the up side - the heathers are looking pretty and pink in Princes Street gardens, and there's a cherry in flower.

We were in the city centre today on a mission to try to persuade two young lads that the wearing of the kilt would be a fun thing to do for their primary school dance. Our subterfuge worked. One was dancing around the shop with his brogues on by the time we'd finished. Good job Hector Russell staff!
