The Milky Way over Lake Alexandrina

I'm now down in Arrowtown, staying with my daughter (Wirihana South). I had an appointment with the Stars last night, in Tekapo! What a stunningly gorgeous night it was too. I drove out to Lake Alexandrina and had a play there for a while with my camera, and then went back to the Church in Tekapo - even though I was by myself I thoroughly enjoyed it all. More stars!

The lens is the Samyang 14mm f/2.8, for Nikon. I love it! Great for night sky photography.
