Loweswater

Better in LARGE!

With most of the country starting to suffer high levels of pollution and poor visibility from desert dust from the Sahara, I decided to take the group to Loweswater. It always seems to be so neglected as a lake, we hardly ever see many people there, and it often enjoys better weather than much of the Lake District as it is so near to the perimeter of the park, and the clouds haven't been pushed higher over the central fells!

I used a big-stopper on this one to extend the shutter speed to 30" to show movement in the stormy clouds.

Kept dry, got some pretty good shots, and the group as a whole had a good day.
