Cows out!

Everyone likes to watch the cows being let out for the first time after the winter. They have been in a covered yard for months where they can lie down, wander around and feed but not much else so this is pure heaven to feel the turf under their feet and freedom! We wanted them to go out about now because they will be calving shortly and need to take some exercise and firm up their muscles. They prefer to calve in a corner of the field.
