Celtic Media Festival - St Ives

St Ives is the stunning venue for this year's Celtic Media Festival. I have been attending this festival since the early 1990s. Always enjoyable to catch up with old friends from the media across the Celtic nations.
I am scheduled to speak at the conference on Friday on theme of A voice for Radio - presenting masterclass. The word "masterclass" always unnerves me. And to make matters worse I am on stage with a legend from Ireland called Sean O hEanaigh. He can be heard in Scotland presenting Struth na Maoile with Mary Anne Kennedy.
The Celtic Film and Television Festival, as it was then, was started in 1980 in Benbecula and South Uist by Mike Russell now a Cabinet Secretary in the Scottish Parliament. It has grown into one of the most significant festivals in the media industry.
