Nimaj Palace Hotel

This used to be the palace of the feudal lord for the village, now turned into a heritage hotel and beautifully restored (apart from in our room, where damp was casuing the paint to peel off). The village (really a small town) streets are too narrow for cars so the beeping duty falls mainly to the motorbikes. Inside the palace walls, all is peace and serenity.

This was our last morning - there followed a train journey to Delhi and flight back to London via Amman. Delhi belly kicked in on the train journey, but now home and recovered.
