Truly Blippin' Marvelous

The Rio

I mentioned previously, but it's actually El Rio. Sod's law - there would be a car parked right in front of it.

Any like to buy an old movie theater? On the nearby Historic Driving Tour tablet of sandstone:
Built c.1915 & originally called The Apache Theatre, this adobe movie house once showed silent flickers with a hand-cranked projector. Renamed the El Rio in 1937, Round Valley's first theatre is still operating with its original popcorn machine

Update January 2016: The Rio is rescued and doing well; and the new owners are very friendly. The local history museum has an exhibit about it including an old projector.

Not quite as grand as this old cinema in Colchester.
