Front to back

This is the back door to our home. The reason it looks like a front door is because that is what it used to be. The original cottage was a two up, two down dwelling attached to a stable, the home of the coachman. Alterations to the property before our time meant that there was a new front door, but this former front door retains its pretty porch, a knocker and a letter box - all rather grand for a back door.
