In season 1964/65 Chester's Famous Five forward line, for younger readers that was a formation with five forwards, scored 116 league goals between them with each player netting more than 20 times.

Today Elfed Morris, who died in Nov last year, was inducted into the Chester Hall of Fame. Morris scored 24 goals in that memorable season and managed the same tally the following season.
