why?

Today I was taking picture whilst walking the dog... in the dark. Well to be honest I didn't see anything strange in it... finding out what the camera could do with minimal light... nice adventure I thought. It was a bit of a surprised to be laughed out loud at and questioned! by some "grown ups" too!! I mean doesn't everyone take pictures in the dark!??
