lime and coconut cake

Made this for Pierre's cousin Julien arriving this evening. A great recipe.

Had a stressful morning as the owner of our house came to inspect the roof work and, in turn, had a good nosey round the house and garden as well. At one point we had the owner Jérome, the boss of the roofing company, our neighbour Fabrice, and the newly-appointed mayor, André Balandreau, all chatting and wandering around our home! We were invaded!

The place was looking great; we'd even given the garden a once-over, so all ended well :)
