Tartan Day Ceilidh

We attended an event in support of our local pipe & drum band this evening, and my ears our filled with the blast of full-blooded pipes and toe-tapping rhythms. I don't know if I have any Scots or Irish blood, but this is soul-stirring music!

Oh, it was my first time trying haggis. Not bad, a bit spicy & mealy, but I finished my plate - and polished off a couple of oatcakes for dessert! Lots of fun - I think I'll be tapping my toes in my sleep when I get to bed tonight!
