Willows Beach

Some time ago Kipper Cabin wrote about the Chinese Cemetery on Harling Point in Oak Bay. Today we were in Victoria. Renee and I drove to the Chinese Cemetery where a family brought oranges and daffodils and burned joss sticks, a type of incense, at the ceremonial altar. From there we walked to Trafalgar Park and the lookout.

We had with us a book, Walk Victoria. Interesting history. Next stop was Cattle Point Park where we walked and then walked through Uplands Park as well where we saw many Gary Oak trees. Our intention was to walk from from one park to another. But rain fell. We traveled by car instead.
