National Pillow Fight Day

yes, there is such a thing and it took place today on Washington's Mall - a 'first world' type of entertainment if I ever saw one ;)

It brought together about 200 people, swinging pillows at each other. Simple directions: no down feathers (that took away from the potential visuals) and no hitting people with cameras (of which there were almost as many as pillow fighters…)

And another pleasant surprise from blip: yesterday's image went to the spotlight (though I apparently missed that altogether). I wish I understood the algorithm behind that process but hey, it's all good :)
