Gooey flapjack

Today I got stuck into jobs as it was the last day I could do them before going off on my travels again. So the car got washed and the lawn mowed and then I decided to make some treacle flapjacks. Black treacle and Golden Syrup have now gone down on my list of essential goods, not easily obtainable in France, that I must remember take with me. The list also includes Yorkshire tea of course, proper mango chutney, paint and bramley apple sauce.
