Frisky conditions proved challenging, even on the pontoon for one dinghy crew.

This is day 1 of the 3 day, 60th British Student Team Racing Championships at Strathclyde Loch.

Hosted by Strathclyde University the 128 team racers represent 21 universities.

Pity the organisers made no attempt to engage with the public at this prestigious event.

Opportunity lost.

I'm surprised the RYA, who were also involved, were not pro-active in delivering public engagement.

It is easy to forget and even take for granted that all this comes from the public purse, yet they are ignored.
