Pheasant

Easy to find pheasants lately. I hear them all the time and today I saw one two. But only this one wanted to get on the photo.

I don't remember seeing pheasants when I was a child. I don't know where they have been hiding - or was I not looking? An environmental thing? I don't remember seeing storks either as a child, and now they are back. And very welcome!

Yesterdays lonely tree made it to spotlight - Surprise! - but is still waiting for rain to wash the desert dust away. So is my car.
